haha no worries.

it's the same copy and those windows is helpful when you need to work with a
couple of sheets together so no need to switching.. but that's for big and
multiple screens...

You could close 2 of the windows then save. then close the file. After you
reopen, it should be fine.

I don't know how I caused this 3-in-1 situation. If I same the file as
test.xls, and reopen this file I still find I have :1, :2, and :3 copies of
the identical workbook. Is it possible that the file corrupted while being
transfered from another machine on a flashdrive? I use Excel2000.
