Default Using a drop-down list along with an auto-populate drop-down

Check out VLOOKUP function.

Better yet.................

See Debra Dalgleish's site for more on VLOOKUP and Data
Validation lists for entering the choices.

Note the section on using DV lists from another worksheet by naming the list.

BTW: 1.0 to 4.0 incremented by .1 is 31 values to attach a letter grade to.

Do you need that many?

I have created a drop down list of scores ranging from 1.0 to 4.0 in .1
increments. On the first drop down the user is able to select the score,
let's say 3.9 and then I want Excel to auto populate a nearby cell with the
grade A+.

How do I do this? There does not seem to be an "auto populate" feature
based on an already existing drop down list.

Help!!! & Thanks!!!
