This isn't my data so please bear with me. I have no idea *why* things
are this way, nor do I really have to understand
what the values mean, in the big picture. I just have to do some
manipulation while another person is out.

I've got a cell formatted as "Time", of type hh:mm:ss (at least I think
that's what the 37:30:55 means) ... all of which I
take to mean this is an elapsed time

The value in the cell is 0:02:09, which again I take as meaning an elapsed
time of 0 hours, 2 minutes, and 9 seconds.

How do I convert that 0:02:09 into a *decimal* representation of the
elapsed time? I want to put the decimal representation
(say 2.10, representing 2 and 1/10 minutes) into another cell?

Thanks
