Default Excel file downloaded and lost HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sometimes, you can click on File and see the last x number of files you've
worked on at the bottom of that dropdown.

You can increase the size of that list:
tools|options|General tab|check recently used file list and make it as large as
you can

Sometimes, you can see the last few windows documents you've worked on via:
Windows Start button|Documents

You may be able to find the document in your windows temporary internet files
folder(s).

I do this:
Start Internet explorer
Tools|Internet Options|General tab
Browsing History Section|Click settings
Then click View Files

sort by date (or extension or whatever helps you search for that .xls file)

I downloaded an excel spreadsheet from my yahoo account. I worked on
it and worked on it saved and saved. In the end I never did a "save
as" I feel like an idiot because I can not find it. Is there anyway
to retreive this file?
