I'm not clear on your question, because in order for more than one user to
work in the file at the same time, it MUST be Shared. The file does not need
to be stored in the Shared Documents folder (if that's what you're referring
to) as long as it is stored in a folder each user has access to.
Using Excel's ToolsShare Workbook feature when one user saves changes any
changes saved by another user are indicated and vice-versa.
