On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Edit tab.
Clear the Ask to update automatic links check box. If the box is
cleared,
the links are automatically updated, and no prompt is displayed.

I have 2 files (file A and file B), that where linked to each.
If I entered data in file A, file B would show the data I entered.
Since upgrading to MS-Office 2003, file A and file B are not
communicating.
