Is anyone going to answer my question?

The people who answer question here are other users like you. They are not
paid MS employees. If you don't get an answer, it's because your question is
not clear or ambiguous, nobody knows the answer, or it requires more than a
few lines of explanation.

As for your question, have you looked at Help for Track Changes? That explains
quite fully how it works in Excel. BTW, you can change the way comments are
displayed at Tools/Options/View. I don't know whether that affects the
change-tracking comments, as I don't need/use this feature. You'll have to try
it and find out.

My coworker is trying to update a document and send it to our translators.
This document is in Excel (XP version). The Track Changes option does
nothing to indicate the changes, save a bolder box, and a note attached

that
is only viewable when you click on it, or rest the cursor on the triangle.

Please inform me as to how one would make these visible. Is there a way to
make it show the track changes as it does in Word (XP) with the balloons?
