Based on your example something like:

=IF(B2="y",B3,IF(B2="n",B4)) will do, I deleted rows and moved the contents
of both cells using Ctrl + X (cut) and Ctrl + V (paste).

I have a spreadsheet that is more like a flow chart.

Assume that the content contained in cell A2 is referenced in Cell P20.
Further assume that Cell P20 contains the reference that it came from Cell

the cell A2 reference that "no" is contained in D10 will change to D8.

Please help. Can this be done?
