Thanks Gord, I know it seems to be overkill.....but with a sales staff of 100
we need to simplify.
I'll try these pages, thanks again!

Do you have Visual Studio installed?
Maybe you have manually install the date picker components per this site.

I personally think this program is overkill if all you want to do is enter a
date in a cell.
See Ron de Bruin's site for adding a Calendar control to a cell or cells.
http://www.rondebruin.nl/calendar.htm
Or go to Martin Green's site which Ron has a link to and download the Add-in
version of his Pop-up Calendar
http://www.fontstuff.com/vba/vbatut07.htm
Read the instructions and how-tos. Note the URL direction to download the
Calendar Control file "mscal.ocx" if you need it.
The downloads are at the bottom of page.

Hi Gord,
It's a Basic Date Picker, I downloaded it from the internet,
www.basicdatepicker.com
It's not in the add ons, but I have never used that feature. It's
downloaded, had the IT guy get it installed, but now I don't know how to
insert it into a workbook page so our sales guys in the filed can just have a
drop down menu for a date.
thanks!

First idea that comes to my mind is that you have not supplied enough
information.
What is the name of the program and from where did you download it?
Is it an add-in?
Is it loaded in ToolsAdd-ins?
How is it supposed to work? Click a button? Click in a cell?
