Take a look at Text-to-columns

Select the single column range of values

Then...From the Excel main menu:
<data<text-to-columns
Check: Delimited.....click [next]
Check: Space.........click [finish]

If that doesn't work.....post back with more details (and samples) of the
data
(with that method....UNDO is your friend)
