There's nothing wrong with your formula. You have an extra set of unneeded
( ) but that won't have a negative impact:

=AVERAGE(IF((ByDay!B1:B65000="LAZ")*(ByDay!HI1:HI6 50000%),ByDay!HI1:HI65000))
