Looking for away to track weekly dispensation of medications and add refilled
prescriptions. On a weekly basis Medications are subtracted from totals when
they are dispensed into the Daily containers. This is the easy part. The
hard part is to add in the refills, because they can be somewhat random
throughout the month depending on the initial date of the prescription,. To
try to state what I have so far: Column B has a list of the various
medications given to one patient. Lets take row 6 as one of those
medications. Column C has the start amount. This is usually not a full
prescription because the patient usually comes with only a partial. Column D
is labeled M/P (my anal way of knowing that there are Medications added and
subtracted, minus/plus) Column E has the next calculated total, labeled AMT.
Then Column F is M/P and Column G is Amt and so on down Row 6 to column S. I
have Column A to enter the amount of tablets when I get a new refill. How do
I add Column A into any M/P column, but only when I get a refill, and I never
know when that is going to be? I will look at any new/different layouts if
that will work better.
