Default Question of bubble color

Hi Richard -

Apparently you can't change the negative bubble color. However, you can
still make the negative bubbles a different color. Using a variation on my
conditional charting technique:

http://peltiertech.com/Excel/Charts/...nalChart1.html

make a second bubble size column with opposite values. For example, if the
bubble sizes now are in D6:D18, enter =-D6 into cell E6, and fill this down
to E18. Change the existing bubble series so it does not show negative
bubbles. Add a new series (Chart menu Source Data Series tab), using the
same X and Y data, and the new column for bubble sizes. This series also
should not show negative bubbles, which were positive in the first series.
Format the positive and negative series appropriately.

The Excel wizard automatically colors any bubble where the bubble size
reference data is negative as white. Is there a way to change the color
of
supposedly negative (white) bubbles to something else? I've tried a
number
of things with no success. This seems to be an automatic feature I can't
turn off.

Thanks -RA
