Default adding a checkbox

I am setting up a chart and want to add checkboxes in a cell.
example: checkbox contract, checkbox permanent so that I can select which
box is approrpriate on each line of the document. In Word you can add the
checkbox through the forms toolbar and then right click to check or uncheck
it, can this be done in excel?
