Default HOW DO I GET THE DAY (MONDAY) FROM A DATE (01/01/2007)

Another way: =VLOOKUP(WEEKDAY(F16),H7:I13,2,FALSE) where the date appears in
F16, and the table H7:I13 is a table showing the day number of the week
(Sunday = 1, etc. and the corresponding day)...

But of course this is much more complicated than JE McGimpsey's method....
