File appears to be Readme only
Dave,
I don't think it is a protection issue because of the autosum feature not
working. I researched it on Microsoft and it looks like it is some kind of
shared workbook issue. Article ID 130560 lists several commands that are
disabled in a shared workbook and those are the problems I am having.
However I don't know how to "unshare" it.

It sounds more like the worksheet is protected.
Tools|Protection|Unprotect sheet
may help.
When a file is readonly, you can make as many changes as you want--including
autosum, but you can't save the file using that name. (You can save as a
different name, though.)

I use Excel 2000. My boss just got me a new computer. I can still access my
Excel files since I was saving them to the network. Now however, I can open
them but the auto sum and other functions do not work. Is there a way I can
fix this so that I can make changes to the worksheets?
