Default name various cells

Hope

To REname a range you must delete the old name, before or after it matters
not but it must be deleted. Be careful deleting a named range in an existing
worksheet. Make sure that named range is NOT used in any other formulas
because once you delete that name the formulas may not work as designed.
REread my first post it explains how to delete a named range.

Thanks for your help in this one.

I did follow the step by step instructions CLARITY on the instructions you
gave is Superb.

It did DEFINITE change in the Name Box but it did not change in the Cell my
still same OLD Name "Allocation" is still showing.

FOR EXAMPLE: I want to REname certain range of cells D8:D12 with a NEW named
called Serving.

Select the range you want to name. Goto the name box, it is located just
above column A and it has a drop down arrow. Click inside the name box and
enter the name you want for the range you have selected. When you are done
you must hit "Enter" to name that range. Or you could goto (after selecting
your range) InsertNamedefine, and enter your range name there and ok out.

It is nice to know both ways because you can quickly find a named range by
clicking the name box drop down, and you can delete a range in the
insertname.....place.

Does this help You?
