You can set it up as a custom list. Enter A, B, C, etc in cells A1:A26 and
then go to ToolsOptions...Custom List and in the import from cells enter
A1:A26 and import, click add and close the dialog.
Now when you type A, B in two concurrent cells, select both and drag the
fill handle it will create as per your new list
