How much egg nog was that?
If you have years on the y-axis and months on the x-axis, where are the
dollar values to go?
The result you describe (years on legend, or each year is a separate data
series) sound just fine
If you want a longitudinal chart (Jan 2002, Feb 2003 ....Jan 2004......Dec
2007) you will need to rearrange the data
Happy new year

Hi everyone, and welcome back from the holidays. Here is my issue, and I
really hope one of you are able to help me with it:
I am trying to chart some data and have hit a wall. Here is basically what
I'm trying to chart:
Jan Feb Mar Apr May Jun Jul Aug Sep Oct Nov Dec
2003 $$ $$ $$ $$ $$ $$ $$ $$ $$ $$ $$ $$
2004 $$ $$ $$ $$ $$ $$ $$ $$ $$ $$ $$ $$
2005 $$ $$ $$ $$ $$ $$ $$ $$ $$ $$ $$ $$
2006 $$ $$ $$ $$ $$ $$ $$ $$ $$ $$ $$ $$
2007 $$ $$ $$ $$ $$ $$ $$ $$ $$ $$ $$ $$
I think you get the basic idea; my boss wants the $$$ amounts/revenue
charted by month and year, exactly as shown. However, when I enter the
data
as shown above, I end up with the years being shown in a legend. I need
the
years to appear as the "Y" axis, and for the months to appear as the "X"
axis. Can anyone poitn me in the right direction on this one? I really
appreciate any help......thanks!
