Default workbook windows disappearing!

Thank you for the quick response.

Window|arange| was set to tile I changed to Horizontal and it came back into
view. However I opened another workbook and when I minimize the second
workbook the first one is not viewable again. I then went back and switched
it back from Horizontal to tiled and it came back. I have to keep going back
and forth. This is better I can at least get it to show it self, but going
back and forth is going to get real annoying after awhile. I cannot get any
other workbook to disappear either, so it appears to be something with just
this workbook.

If you can see the worksheet info (either through the formula bar or even by
File|PrintPreview), then it sounds like:

Window|arrange|tiled
would make it visible and you can resize it the way you like it.

On some computers it does it when it is first opened, on others if another
workbook is opened then minimized it is gone. If I open the workbook then
click restore it is gone. If it is minimized and I hit maximize it opens and
is visible if it is minimized and I click restore it is not viewable. When it
is not viewable the name box and the formula bar still show the information
for the last cell clicked when it was viewable. I have tried it in Excel
2000, 2003 and 2007 and it does the same thing in all of them.
