I am rather sure this is not possible within Office/Windows. You might ask
you co-worker if a third part tool was used to change the filename color.

Greetings all!
I was just told by a co-worker that you can save an excel spreadsheet in
some manner so that when you are opening it back up, the name will appear in
the directory in a different color amongst all the other files, other than
the automatic black. I am running 2003 w/ XP Pro.
This would be very helpful when looking for a specific file among hundreds
of other files.
I have done other shortcuts to make files/spreadsheets stand out, such as
adding a "1" in front of the name so that it appears at or near the top etc,
but having a different color would also be a great little trick.
Does anyone know if this is possilbe, and how it is done?
Thanks for your anticipated help!
Mark
