Hi Kelly O'Day
The support provided by you contains the same type of charts which I am
looking for, perticularly:
http://processtrends.com/pg_chart_sc...r_checkbox.htm
http://www.oaltd.co.uk/DLCount/DLCou...e=FunChrt7.zip
the above examples are the type which I am looking for, but the above links
does not show the procedures to build the same type of charts by end users
like me.
I'll be greatful if you tell me the step by step procedure to dovelop the
same type of chart in Microsoft Excel 2000

To add to the list of scroll - zoom examples, this link shows an Excel chart
that lets user select data series with checkbox, zoom by selecting time span
to look at (year, month, etc) and scroll data.
The link has a video and the downloadable workbook.

Here are some resources on dynamic named ranges as used in charts.
You can use cells linked to controls to vary the start points and or
lengths in the offset formula.

Also, Stephen Bullen has a ready-made chart with both scroll and zoom on
his page
http://www.oaltd.co.uk/Excel/Default.htm
It's the file "FunChrt7.zip"
http://www.oaltd.co.uk/DLCount/DLCou...e=FunChrt7.zip
Jon Peltier's Dynamics page links to Stephen Bullen, but only
FunChrt1.zip, the "automatically extend data series" chart.
