I am currently using the formula

IF(V5="","",VLOOKUP(V5,Rates!$B$2:$F$226,3,FALSE))

I need to add a string that not only lookups v5 as above but I also need to
loolooks up j5 and if equals a certain number the formula above would look at
column 4 rather than 3

Does my question make sense?
