Default what is a formula

Sorry joeu, i forgot to reflect your other answer.
1.
"You would have to ask the supplier ("3rd party"). Generally, there is
no such warranty, especially with any formula or solution posted in
these forums." -
Wouldn't it be correct that the person who gave the link answer be honest
enough to know first the above quotes before suggesting it especially to a
new excel user ?
2.
"The "MVP" designation, if used responsibly, only indicates that the person
has certain qualifications. It does not mean that person is all-knowing or
infallible; and it does not imply a guarantee or warranty of anything that an
"MVP" posts."

I am not saying that MVP must guarant or warrant the answer. I will repeat
your quote such as "The "MVP" designation, if used responsibly".
Also please see for your background info and please read it between the
lines, maybe you will be amazed: https://mvp.support.microsoft.com/mvptechres

1. Excel program always upgrade itself..Will the suggested formula building
thru 3rd party suggestions be an integral part of any excel upgrade?

You would have to ask the supplier ("3rd party"). Generally, there is
no such warranty, especially with any formula or solution posted in
these forums.

2. If there are formula suggested under this forum that are not covered by
the Help Files samples and Function description, will this microsoft forum
guarantee the CHECKED MARKS and such checked marks will be integral to all
the succeeding microsoft Upgrades.

I do not know what "checked marks" you are referring to. But
generally, nothing posted in these forums is guaranteed to work even
for the current suite of MS products, much less any future upgrades.

I am not questioning about all of the ms products...I am pertaining only on
the formula structuring of excel thru this forum - no more no less.

Formulas and solutions posted in this forum carry no guanantee or
warranty, unless expressly offered by the person posting them (and
believe me, that is never!). The content of these forums is not
provided, scrutinized or authorized by Microsoft. They are provided by
individuals with widely varying expertise -- both professional and
non-professional. The "MVP" designation, if used responsibly, only
indicates that the person has certain qualifications. It does not mean
that person is all-knowing or infallible; and it does not imply a
guarantee or warranty of anything that an "MVP" posts.

I consider the help files as a true guarantee

Even for Microsoft products, I am reasonably sure that statements made
in Help pages are not intended to "guarantee" anything. (Disclaimer:
I do not work for MS, and I do not speak for them.)

I cannot do it with risk.

Then do not rely on any information posted in these forums.
