I am trying to count data from different columns (options)

An example of data:

April Monday
May Tuesday
June Friday
July Monday
April Friday
June (blank)
July Tuesday
April (blank)

I want to capture the total entries for April and not count the Blank Cells.

I know I can do Countif for April but then what?
