Default Editing Source Data in Charts

When you click in the box containing the range address, Excel highlights the
range, scrolling the window if necessary. It does not scroll back.

An alternative approach which does not scroll the window is to select the
series, and edit the addresses in the SERIES formula displayed in the
formula bar. See this article for more information:

Why does my cursor then go to my spreadsheet (usually near the beginning)
instead of staying within the chart...

In other words, I must navigate back to my charts after I change one of
them.

Is this unavoidable??
