Default excel global settings file

The Normal.dot is the template file that Word uses as the basis to create
Word documents. Any modifications to it change the way that all subsequently
created documents will perform and react. Excel is quite different. There is
no template. The application level settings are stored in the operating
systems registry. So there is no file that you can go to. What are you
wanting to do or see?

Where and\or what is the name of the file that stores the global excel

The global settings file in Word is the Normal.dot file and is in this path
C:\Documents and Settings\bear\Application Data\Microsoft\normal.dot
