Default how do i calculate inverse tan?

Excel does trig in radians hence the 180/PI()
To save you remembering which way to do this use the conversion function
So to find the Tan of 60 or of degree value in A1
=TAN(RADIANS(60)) or TAN)RADIANS(A1)
and to find the inverse tan (we oldies you we brought up with log 7 trig
paper tables call that the 'arc-tan')
=DEGREES(ATAN(A2)
best wishes
