Hi

um, always works for me - got to type it EXACTLY and it only rearranges once
you click in another cell or press enter.
but just checking:

you have something along the following lines ...
........A..................B...................... C.......................D
3....SumofNums...Department.................
4.....Location........Accounts........Admin....... .........I.T.
5.....North...............57..................67.. ..................3

and you want to see I.T. then Accounts then Admin
so click in B4, type
I.T.
press enter and it should rearrange - as i said i don't think you can move
the grand total.

Let me know how you go

Cheers

Hi

i'm not sure if you can move the "grand total" column, but the others

can be
easily re-arranged by just typing the names in the order you want

(ensure
that you don't make any typing errors though), what i mean is,
click on the A heading and type B
once you press enter B will now come first and A will be moved
continue as required.

Julie,

I tried to type in a new heading in a column but it did not reorder the
columns. Any ideas?

TIA
