Default 2 versions of Excel file opens

You have opened a second window into that same workbook.

If you want to close one, just click on it and hit ctrl-w

Remember to save the workbook before you close--else you'll be doing it again.

Debra Dalgleish has some instructions with pictures:
http://contextures.com/xlfaqApp.html#TwoWindows

This can be caused by using:
Window|New window
(maybe followed by window|arrange)

It can be quite useful to see different ares of the same workbook (even same
worksheet) at the same time.

I'm not sure if this is an error or just some setting we accidently
triggered. When we double click on a certain file there are two versions of
the same file that open simultaneously. One list the file name in the window
as a ":1" and the other a ":2".

All other files are working normally it's just this one. We did a save as
to another name but still the same issue. Please help.
