Default link Access DB to excel WS to share certain data, not whole DB, ho

I think the easiest way to do this, at least as a start, would be to create a
query in Access that would pull all of the data you want together in its
result. You can then use File | Export to write the results to an Excel file
to make available to the others. They would have no direct contact with the
DB contents at all.

Now, if you have to impress them with the appearance of the Excel data, this
probably isn't going to do it, but it will make the data available for review.

You could go further and use Access as a Client for Excel and code up a
solution that would create the Excel workbook either from scratch or from a
template file and populate it with the data in a more presentation-worthy
layout. But sounds like this could be something you're not familiar with
doing and to tell you how would require a lot of space here.

if you want to explore that possibility. Requires
coding of module within Access.

Want to share info kept in DB with other mgmt, but not all info. No
additions/edits to be allowedto main DB, want them to see view only report in
either Access or Excel, with restricted info fields able to view. Wnat to
share this info only report on network for access by mgmt. Anyone know how
to do this and keep my sensitive data hidden?
