There is no watermark mode since excel does not support watermarks, the only
way
AFAIK is
to use paper with preprinted logos, to insert a picture in header or footer
(not available ion excel 2000,
was introduced in excel xp)

I have price list pages created in Excel 2000 on which I
need to print our company logo in black and white and/or
in colour (tif or jpeg format) in the background as a
watermark. So far I have been able to remove the white
background but the watermark mode in Excel gives me a grey
image which covers the data on the sheet rather than a
true watermark. I've even used the "Order, to back"
command to no effect.
I am currently using the workaround of two passes in the
printer: first to print the watermark logo in Word and
then to print the price list page. I would really like to
be able to do this in one operation. My price list pages
are too complicated for Word.
Help anyone?
