Default How do I convert a Excel 2003 file into a Word 2003 file (table)?

Fortunately there is an easy way to accomplish your goal.

1. select the area in the spreadsheet you want do copy
2. while holding down the SHFT key, pull-down:

Edit Copy Picture and select as shown on the screen

3. go to your Word document and just paste.

You have just pasted a picture in the Word document. Because it is a
picture, you can re-size it or move around like any other picture.

Because it is a picture, no one can change the underlying data.

Have a good weekend.

The Excel file is large, some 550 lines and the Word file is small. I have
tried "insert" and "copy and paste" but in each case the formatting is lost.
I also want to ensure the copied Excel data cannot be modified.
