Once you have removed the hyperlinks they have gone.

You would need a different macro to create mailto: hyperlinks from the
content of selected cells. Something like this

Dim C As Range
For Each C In Selection.Cells
If C.Hyperlinks.Count = 0 And C.HasFormula = False And
InStr(C.Value, "@") 0 Then
C.Hyperlinks.Add C, "MailTo:" & C.Value
End If
Next
