Thanks for your help. Unfortunately, I already tried your suggestion, but
it did not work. Apparently, Excel allows only certain chart types to be
combined. And having a cluster bar and stacked bar on the same chart is not
an allowable combination. Thanks again.

Hi Bob,

First of all built the chart as a clustered column with the 3 series, than
select series 2 right click on it, select Chart Type and select a a stacked
column type; repeat for series 3.
