Default columns into debit amounts

Awesome, I love this forum. I had to leave unexpectedly and am sorry to be
getting back to you so late. Catching up with old email. Yours & Fred Smith's
answer works beautifully. I especially love your answer because I've never
been able to get rid of the whateveryacallits circling around a cell when
that cell has been copied. I always had to go to a blank cell and just type
something. Now, I know to hit escape. LOL
Anyway thanks to both of you. The problem with the spreadsheet had to be
redone by hand but I'm ready with the answer next time (if) it happens.
Kudo's to the terrific people here with the answers. :)

Enter -1 in an unused cell.

Copy that cell.

Select the columns to change and Paste SpecialMultiplyOKEsc.

Clear the cell with the -1

Hi. I need to change 2 columns of listed currency amounts (several pages
worth) into debits without re-doing all. The columns were formatted but
the listed amounts were input w/o using the minus or ( ). Can this be done?
Thank you.
