What does the window look like when you select "maximize"? Are the lower
left and right corners off the screen? Where are the bottoms of other
applications when maximized? When you mouse down to the very bottom of
the "MONITOR SCREEN" can you see the tippy tip of the mouse move along
the bottom edge or is it completely gone? Have you tried adjusting the
monitor's vertical height setting?
