-I have a worksheet w/ over 1000 different rows. (name, date, number)
-- this information was complied over years therefore within the
'name' column the same exact name appears numerous x's. what i want is
a line chart showing the data for each name, w/ that persons different
plots on one line. so the chart will have maybe 30 individual lines
over 6 years with plots for each number.

-the problem i keep is every row is a point -- doesn't combine the
jims to one line (i know select each one at a time....looking for an
easier way)

-is there an easy way to create the lines from each name w/ out
selecting the range one by one.

ex.
name date number
jim 1/1/2000 3
jim 4/1/2001 5
jim 2/5/1997 45
bill 8/21/2006 67
bill 7/12/2003 1
tim 6/6/1996 8
tim 5/5/1995 98
tim 9/27/1998 33
