Default Excel should let me divide and multiply time intervals

You can do this already - just format your result as [m]:ss and you
will get 8:00

Hope this helps.

I would like to be able to perform math functions, including multiplication
and division, with time intervals. The results should be displayed in time
format. Example: I am tracking time as I prepare for a marathon. I enter the
total amount of time and the number of miles. I would like to see the average
time per mile. If I run 13 miles in 1 hour and 44 minutes, the forumula
should be 1:44:00/13, the result should be 8 minutes - formated as 8:00.
Instead, I get a result of .005556. I think that there are many uses for this
function for anyone who tracks time. I would like to see the funtionality
added to the next Excel version.
