Just expand the previous answers
eg if revenue appears in column C
=SUMPRODUCT((A1:A100={"dept a","dept c"})*(B1:B100))

becomes
=SUMPRODUCT((A1:A100={"dept a","dept
c"})*(B1:B100)*(c1:c100="Revenue"))
