Cell XX can only assume two values, "blank" or "non blank" therefore you
only need to test for one condition.
=IF(XX="",SUM(XX:XX),SUM(YY:YY))

I am trying to use an IF statement involving two arguments - IF Cell XX
is = "blank" then bring back the SUM of Cells XX-XX BUT IF Cell XX
[this is the same cell as the first reference] is = "non blank" then
bring back the SUM of Cells YY-YY. Is this possible? If so how would
I do this?
Thank you
