You could also have the "https://www." in the HYPERLINK formula so long
as the "friendly name" in A1 was the rest of the path, e.g. rather than
"Excel Tip" as your friendly name, use "ExcelTip.com".

In G1,

=HYPERLINK("https://www."&A1,"Your link name here")
