Default what is microsoft excel and how do you use it?

Excel is used to calculate and display data.
Power Point is used to create graphics used for presentations.
Pictures of Excel data can be displayed as a slide show using Power Point.
Generally speaking, you could consider Power Point "form" and Excel "substance".
