Ctrl + ;

if you want to enter the time you would use

Ctrl + :

+ does not mean entering the plus sign it mean you hit Ctrl plus the
semicolon

you can also use formulas

=TODAY()

=NOW()

the formulas will change, then keyboard shortcuts will not
