When a worksheet is protected, the user can’t select locked cell but the
pointer is still showing a hand, to indicate a link can be followed.
However, a click does not activate the link. Is there a way to allows
the user to follow a link contained in a protected cell?

Or is there a way to set a worksheet so that selected cells are NOT
highlighted?
