Solver is not tied to a worksheet. It is globally available (or
unavailable) within XL.

What do you want to do with a new worksheet and Solver? How are you trying
to get it done? How does it not work?

I'm having some trouble accessing the Excel "solver" tool on new worksheets
I create within a default .xls file.

Are there possible memory limits on a file size that prevent "solver" from
running? Is "solver" on the Office XP version explicitly limited to 4 or
