Well, untill something comes along, you can create an "Intersection" and
"group" the three components and then just use it like any other drawing
object.........moving it around at will.......the three grouped objects will
stay together............

What I'm after is something that will automatically crossconnect, so
that if I move one of the lines, the crossconnect goes with it.

I'm guessing this is simply not possible in Excel; that's what real
drawing programs like Visio are for. It would just be nice to have
some of that functionality in Excel too.
