Default How can I use SumProduct with a horizonontal and vertical array?

I think you are half right. for a sumproduct to work the arrays need to
be of equal length, one can be horizontal and one can be vertical so

sumproduct((a1:a4=1)*(b1:e1=1),a11:a14)

would evaluate as a sumproduct!
