I Urgently need how to solve the following equation.

I have a colum that displays date and time as such:

May 02, 2006; 08:53

Have no problem removing the Date stuff and therefore only working
with:

08:53 format

I need to know how to calculate the full COLUMN when there are some 70
cells in the format hh:mm

I need to display the total hours and minutes:

I,e: Column A
cell 1 08:30
all the way through to
cell 70 10:21
