Default subtotals (85 coll): Is there an easyer way than ticking 85 boxes

You can select multiple columns the normal Windows method of click then
shift-click then CTRL/click

Select the first column in a range, and shift-click the last column,
hold CTRL and click for additional columns.

If you always select a variety of columns you can record a macro whilst
doing this, then use the macro for future selections.

However, be aware that the CTRL/Click again does not release the
selection, so choose wisely.

Hope this helps

Subtotal function: Is there an easyer way to select many collumns in a
preadsheet?:

In my 185 collumn worksheet i want to subtotal about half - in various
places in the sheet. In the 'suptotals chek bock I check each
individual
collumn that i want a subtotal for. This takes ages, and also there
is no
'select all' option. Does anyone know how to make the selection
quicker?
